Web3D Consortium

Founded in 1997, the Web3D Consortium is an international, non-profit, member-funded, industry standards development organization. The Web3D Consortium with its members builds and maintains widely applicable X3D standards (X3D is an ISO-ratified, royalty-free open standards file format and run-time architecture to represent and communicate 3D scenes and objects.) through well-coordinated Liaison Partnerships. Members collaboratively develop the X3D standards and tools making them widely adopted by digital content creation industries across diverse markets.

Participation includes both public and member-only activities. Join Web3D Consortium to take full advantage of these opportunities!

For over 20 years Web3D Conferences are sponsored by ACM SIGGRAPH in cooperation with Web3D Consortium.
