Virtual Event
Web3D 2020
Now in it’s 25th year Web3D Conferences are sponsored by Web3D Consortium. We are excited to announce a new format for Web3D 2020 this year with innovative changes! Previous Conferences.
Virtual Event
Web3D Week 2020 – Monday through Friday, 09-13 November 2020
Web3D 2020 will be a fully virtual conference. All talks will be streamed online to the attendees and interactions will take place using video conferencing.
As we work to figure out what the first virtual Web3D will look like and how to best present the amazing content, we are also treating this as an opportunity for positive change. With virtual Web3D 2020, we’ll experiment a bit and, over time, be able to refine with new content and experiences.
To support different time zones over the globe and make it easier to follow Web3D 2020, the conference will be spread over a week. Daily content will be limited to a few hours and will be streamed multiple times a day. The first stream will be live with interaction.
Free Registration Option
The virtual conference format also allows us to offer a conference registration option with no fee! The Web3D 2020 video streams will be freely available for everyone. We will also provide a premium registration option for a nominal fee, which will allow online interactions with speakers, conference proceedings and other benefits.
Journal Publication
All accepted Web3D 2020 papers will be included in a the ACM digital library, Journal of Computational Design and engineering (JCDE) and Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds(CAVW).
Extended Deadlines
To accommodate authors who are experiencing COVID-19 disruptions, we are delaying the Web3D 2020 paper submission deadline to July 27th, 2020.
